"Jesus, I trust in You"

Our hope is that the collection of religious art may inspire you to prayer and meditation when visiting the beautiful gardens and chapels. Through this art work we can also learn more about our faith and its teachings. Take for example the Image of the Divine Mercy.
Saint Faustina tells us in her diary that Jesus himself told her to paint Him. “Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You. I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I also promise victory over [its] enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I Myself will defend it as My own glory (Diary, 47, 48). I am offering people a vessel with which they are to keep coming for graces to the fountain of mercy. That vessel is this image with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You (327). I desire that this image be venerated, first in your chapel, and [then] throughout the world (47).” Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska.

Altar Hesus Mizerikòrdioso

No matter how well Christian Art is made, it can never express the beauty of God or the Virgin Mary. "The only purpose of Christian art is to help us deepen into the mystery of God….” This is the view of Alejandro Rodriguez del Villar Medina, the artist who made the beautiful altar Hesus Mizerikordioso (Jesus of the Divine Mercy) in the Chapel. The Venezuelan artist also painted the Loving Mother and Loving Father. Christian Art and Christian Icons are his speciality.
